The course is expected to be full time (5 training hours a day) for 7 days enabling attendees to meet the 35 education hours requirement to qualify to sit the exam. Attendees are experienced project managers who will be able to meet the PMI eligibility criteria to sit the PMP exam. They should be in possession of the PMI PMBOK Guide 6th Edition and be familiar with the content thereof prior to starting the workshop. The proposed course is aligned with the ProjectManagement Institute’s Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge.

 Training Delivery

  • The training will be delivered over 7 non consecutive days, for each group, with 5 hours of training time per day. Short breaks could be provided, but do not form part of the 7 hours per day. The course is broken into multiple sessions that cover (with some degree of variation) theory, discussion and practical exercises designed to prepare you to pass the exam.

  • The relative time spent on any specific session or Knowledge Area may change based on the experience and knowledge of the attendees and where the instructor and students agree to focus time as the workshop progresses.

  • However, the workshop is designed to cover the content required by the PMI® PMP® Exam Content Outline, and follows the PMI PMBOK Guide chapter by chapter.

Certificate conditions and requirements:

High school diploma holder:

  • 1. 60 month hour (7500 of project management experience).
  • 2. 25 contact hours of learning project management.

Bachelor’s degree:

  • 1. 36 months (4,500 hours of experience in project management).
  • 2. 25 contact hours of learning project management.
  • Maximum certificate compensation:
  • Compensation for training costs: 2,100 riyals
  • Accreditation of the certificate in the program: May 2016
  • The beneficiary must be a male or female citizen, whether he is a worker in the public, private or non-profit sectors, or a job seeker.
  • •The certificate should be among the certificates approved by the Human Resources Development Fund
  • • The date of obtaining the certificate should be after the date of approval of the certificate in the ” Professional Certification Support” program.
  • The applicant acknowledges that his employer has not paid the costs of the certificate he obtained.
  • The cost reimbursement request should not exceed two certificates per person only.
  • That the professional certificate be valid and not expired, so that the date of approval of the certificate does not exceed six months.
